hmmm, perhaps not the same God I worship?

though, in fairness, it should be acknowledged that Jenny McCarthy
believes that she was chosen by God to represent 'autism moms'

The mind given to me by the God I worship tells me that Jenny McCarthy
is in it to make money and bolster her career. She does so much more
for her son than what she pushes in the soundclips (as I'm sure people
who read her books will know). He gets one on one education, for
example. Something that a vast majority of those with autistic
children can't afford, unless they provide it themselves. (of course
being that according to an Access Hollywood interview, he doesn't
interact with other children because an illness can trigger a seizure,
one wonders how recovered the child really is, as many of the things
used to diagnose autism depend on how the child interacts with peers).

I feel no communication from the Spirit telling me she is right.
Granted I lean towards the belief that our Lord meddles very little in
our affairs as he gave us the precious gift of free choice, so maybe
the Spirit communicates with me less than it does with others, but I
find bringing God into the debate misleading. Those of us who do not
believe vaccines cause even a significant percentage, let alone most,
cases of autism are not all Godless Pharm Schills. I feel she's
bringing God into it as it's the only argument she has against the
scientific evidence pointing to the fact that vaccines do NOT cause
most cases of autism and that we've been unable to scientifically
prove that they have even caused one.

Causing a fever and/or fever seizure that exacerbates a preexisting
condition which in turn causes the autistic symptoms is not the same
as causing autism, especially as a myriad of the diseases vaccines
prevent could have done the same damn thing. And even that was not
scientifically proven. The court just decided it was possible. It
would be great if we focused less on whether vaccines caused autism in
general and more on whether or not fever seizures can cause/trigger
it. Of course, for all I know there are studies that prove they do or
don't but since vaccines aren't mentioned they don't hit the
mainstream news.

So I guess invoking God is her only argument. Her only way to get the
faithful but skeptical. Well if God chose her, then it must be!
Perhaps she misunderstood the message God was sending... This faithful
skeptic doesn't buy it.
